Hello and welcome! I am so glad you have found your way here.

Life in the Middle Years is a little corner of the internet where I am documenting the things I am discovering, creating and learning as I navigate this chapter of life. Think of this as a conversation over a cup of coffee.

I will be sharing stories about finding your feet in the middle years, exploring new possibilities, creating income independently, building a homestead in Kenya, making a home, entertaining friends, discovering books and enjoying life's little adventures.

Some letters will be thoughtful, some practical and others simply about something lovely I have come across.

I do not have all the answers, and I do not pretend to have everything figured out. I am interested in the journey, the experiments and the lessons along the way. I hope you will find something here that makes you think, inspires you or gives you an idea to try.
